Get the vault No email wallCan ChatGPT write my nail Instagram captions?
Yes — from your sets, not from imagination. Three prompts in the vault do exactly this: one drafts a week of captions from photos you already have, one writes the 15-second Reel script for the set you just finished, one plans a month of posts in two hours a week. The words are AI; the nails are yours. That split matters — see is this AI nail art? below.
Can AI help me price my nail services?
As a calculator, not an oracle. A client sends a Pinterest photo of a burgundy chrome French with gold foil and two 3D bows, and asks if it's $70 like your Gel-X. The prompt breaks the photo into elements, times each one from your numbers, and rounds the art up to your 15-minute blocks:
| Gel-X full set (medium) | $70 |
| Art: 20 + 6 + 8 = 34 min → 3 blocks × $15 | $45 |
| Materials: 2 charms × $2 | $4 |
| Soak-off | $10 |
| Total | $129 |
Then a simpler $99 option for the client who asks for cheaper, a reply that sends the price without starting a haggle, and one line nobody asked for: her Gel-X set earns $0.78 a minute, less than her own art rate. The pricing prompts behind it: work out what your time is worth, a three-tier price list, and the price-increase message — all free in full. (The full per-minute method, plus every sourced number in this niche — pay, no-shows, growth — is assembled in how much do nail techs make?.)
What about a no-show policy?
This is the prompt techs tell us they needed first: N-01 drafts yours in your voice — deposit, cancellation window, and the polite version clients actually read when booking. One honest number the industry doesn't have: no nail-specific no-show statistic has ever been published, and salon-industry estimates run wide — about 5% to 30% of appointments depending on the source. Every number that does exist, each with its receipt, is assembled in our sourced nail-numbers page. Whatever your rate is, you know it better than any benchmark; the policy is what bends it down.
Is this AI nail art? No — and that's the point.
The nail community has a real problem with AI: clients bring in AI-generated nail photos, and the answer from working techs is blunt — "you can't, because it's not real". That frustration is deserved. Fake reference photos waste everyone's time and set expectations no human hand can meet.
Not one prompt in this vault generates nail images. Your camera roll supplies the sets; AI handles the business words around them — the caption, the quote, the policy, the reply. The part of AI the nail community resents is exactly the part this vault doesn't touch.

What's inside
| Section | Prompts | Jobs |
|---|---|---|
| Bookings, no-shows & policies | 5 | A no-show policy clients actually read, reminders that sound like you, a slow week filled without discounting. |
| Clients & consultations | 7 | Quoting an inspo photo, the “how much?” DM, a lifted set, a bad review, and telling a client you won't work on a nail, without diagnosing. |
| Pricing & menu | 5 | What your time is actually worth, from your own costs. A menu clients can read, art tiers, a price increase. |
| Seasons & trends | 4 | Your seasonal menu out before clients start searching, with the weeks each nail wave peaked on Pinterest in the US. |
| Content | 5 | Captions for photos you already have, a 15-second Reel, Pinterest pins, your bio, a month of posts in two hours a week. |
| Press-ons on the side | 4 | An Etsy listing inside Etsy's limits, a sizing guide, the care card, a drop announcement. |
What these prompts won't do
Diagnose. Where a prompt touches the nail or the skin, it describes what you can see and refers the client on. Make health claims. Never “healthy”, “damage-free” or “strengthens”. Write fake reviews, or offer anything for real ones. Tell you what other salons charge. Every number starts from yours. Generate fake nail photos. See above — that's the line the community drew, and this vault stays on the right side of it.
How it was tested
Every prompt was run on two Claude models. Every price, minute, date and character count in the examples was re-checked by a script against the inputs, and any run that got a number wrong was thrown out. The prompts are written for ChatGPT and Gemini too, but the examples you'll see come from Claude.
For contrast, the industry blog Zillabeau looked at what paid nail prompt packs actually deliver: one 100-prompt pack on Etsy — $4.99, nine sales, one review — bracketed templates with your context removed. This vault is free, and six of the thirty are readable in full on this site before you take anything.
How is this free?
Pay-what-you-want on Gumroad, €0 included, no email wall. Use it, and if it earned it, pay what it was worth — or come back for the seasonal kit: The Year of Sets, every nail season with its post-by date, publishes 5 November.
Who it's for
Independent nail techs, in a suite, a booth or a home studio, who would rather be doing nails than doing the admin. There's a short section for techs who sell press-ons on Etsy — and if that's most of your business, the Etsy seller's vault goes deeper on listings, tags and reviews.
