Pricing & Menu · N-15 — The Art-Tier Card

A nail art price list in three tiers, priced by time

“Every client asks "how much for art?" and I make up a number on the spot.”
The prompt
Turn my art pricing into three clear tiers clients can pick from.

HOW I CHARGE FOR ART: [your rule — e.g., $15 per 15-minute block, rounded up]
MY ART TIMES: [the ones you know — e.g., chrome French both hands 20 min; foil ~3 min per nail; cat-eye both hands 15 min; simple line work ~2 min per nail; 3D charm ~4 min each; a solid colour change is included in the base]
WHAT CLIENTS ASK FOR MOST: [real requests — e.g., French, chrome, foil accents, cat-eye, simple lines, charms, now and then a character]

Do it in this order.

1. THE TIERS. Tier 1 = up to one block, Tier 2 = up to two blocks, Tier 3 = three blocks
or more, quoted from a photo. Price each tier from my rule. Place each technique I
timed into its tier. Where a technique is per nail, say how many nails fit in each tier.

2. THE COMBOS THAT JUMP A TIER. Three common combinations from what clients ask for, with
the minutes added up and the tier they land in.

3. THE CARD. The text for my booking page: tier name, price, what it looks like in client
   words. Under 100 words.

Rules: only my times. If you need a time I didn't give, mark it "estimate — check against
your own speed". Never quote a market price.

Nail Art Pricing Tiers

1. The Tiers

Your rule is $15 per 15-minute block, rounded up. That gives these cutoffs:

TierTimePrice
Tier 1up to 15 min$15
Tier 216–30 min$30
Tier 331 min or more$45+ ($15 per block, quoted from a photo)

Watch for:

  • Full-set foil sits exactly at 30 minutes. Because your foil time is approximate, a slow day would push it into Tier 3. If full-set foil often runs over, you could move it to Tier 3.
  • Plain French and chrome on its own are gaps. You timed chrome French, but clients also ask for French and chrome separately. I haven’t placed either of them. Time each once and slot it into the table.

2. Combos That Jump a Tier

All of these use only your times.

ComboMinutesResult
Cat-eye + foil on 2 accent nails15 + 6 = 21Tier 1 → Tier 2 ($30)
Chrome French + charms on 3 nails20 + 12 = 32Tier 2 → Tier 3 ($45)
Foil on 4 nails + 1 charm12 + 4 = 16two Tier 1 items → Tier 2 ($30). Over by just 1 minute.

A useful contrast: chrome French + foil on 2 nails = 20 + 6 = 26 min. That stays in Tier 2, so it’s an add-on you can offer without raising the price.

3. The Card (91 words)

Nail Art — pick your level (colour change always included)

Tier 1 · Accent · $15 Cat-eye on every nail, or a few standout nails: foil on up to 5, fine lines on up to 7, or up to 3 charms.

Tier 2 · Statement · $30 Chrome French, foil or lines on every nail, 4–7 charms, or a mix like cat-eye with a couple of foil nails.

Tier 3 · Custom · from $45 Characters, lots of charms, or detailed mixed designs. Send a photo and I’ll quote you before your appointment.

Pro tip

Watch anything that lands exactly on a tier’s limit. In this run, full-set foil came to exactly 30 minutes. On a slow day it tips into the next tier, so decide in advance which side you’ll price it on.
